Game License Resources

To access the licenses, all your students have to do is:

  1. Create Battletag accounts (most probably have one already)
  2. Attach a phone number to those accounts, which is needed for accessing the free game licenses (we created guides for this linked below!)
  3. Make sure the computers you submitted IP Addresses for have the Blizzard App downloaded (covered in our How to Install Overwatch guide below)
  4. Log on to play Overwatch on one of the computers you submitted IP Addresses for

Licenses Still Not Working?

If the licenses are still not working, we recommend this solution, which typically resolves the issue:

  • Step 1: Have someone who already owns Overwatch on their account log into the Blizzard App on one of your computers
  • Step 2: Have them download Overwatch on that computer. Wait for the download to completely finish
  • Step 3: Have them log out of the Blizzard App
  • Step 4: Have someone who does NOT own Overwatch on their account (AND has an authenticator attached to their Blizzard account) log in and try to play the game
