2019 Esports Workshops and Clinics

Learning about your interests does not need to be a solo mission--we are here to help! Whether it is an event between fellow club members, or tune in between studying, all students have the opportunity to tune-in to a variety of our learning programs, including Workshops On-Demand, coaches’ corner, and clinics!

What are Workshops?

Since expanding across North America, our team took the popular in-person workshops from our inaugural season and have taken them online! Each workshop relates back to the esports ecosystem, a framework developed in partnership with Connected Learning Lab and Orange County Department of Education.

As each Workshop On-Demand goes live, we will host additional Twitch sessions called AMAs (short for Ask Me Anything) for students and general managers as an introduction to the topic and an opportunity to ask preliminary questions!

Ready to get started? Visit our Workshops On-Demand page through the NASEF Club Portal* for video sessions on topics including:

  • Cyber Security
  • Getting Your Club Started
  • Tournament Organization
  • Toxicity and Bullying

*Attention students! Don’t have access to your Club Portal? Your General Manager may set-up your account through their GM Portal! Contact us at info@esportsfed.org if you have any issues!

These workshops are exclusively for our clubs. Not activated? No problem! Learn more about activation requirements here.

What are Coaches' Corner and Clinics?

Our free coaches' corners and clinics are brought to us by our partners, Connected Camps. Coaches' Corners are sessions where your students can learn from a range of topics, including Streaming and Character Design. Coaches Clinics are competitive play specific, where students are able to learn more about how to become better players.

We want to hear from you!

NASEF is committed to providing engaging and relevant learning opportunities for our students to expand their skills and explore new interests! See something missing? Let us know! Email us at info@esportsfed.org!

The North America Scholastic Esports Federation is working to ensure that ALL students possess the knowledge and skills needed to be society’s game changers: educated, productive, and empathetic individuals. NASEF is on a mission to provide opportunities for ALL students to use esports as a platform to acquire critical communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills needed to thrive in work and in life. The Federation’s core values are intertwined through all aspects of education and play: learning, opportunity, community, diversity, and respect.

Under the Samueli Foundation’s leadership, the Federation is led by partners from the Orange County Department of Education, OC STEM Initiative, Connected Camps, Connected Learning Lab, UCI Esports, UCI Henry Samueli School of Engineering, and the UCI Bren School of Information & Computer Science.
